H., June 9 The best attractions of the spring meeting of the New Hampshire Jockey Club at Rockingham Park have been reserved for the closing week, which was launched here today. High-class racing, which has been the rule rather than the exception, has resulted in fwo weeks of amazing achievement for the new regime at the Salem track and today finds the directorate assured of success and looking toward the future. That New England racegoers are solidly behind the new controlling group at pic; turesque Rockingham is seen definitely in the thousands which throng the track daily and the mutuels department record, which shows an average daily handle of well-nigh 00,000. The most attractive feature of the closing week is, of course, the Rockingham Park Handicap, 0,000 added, over a mile and one-eighth, in which Alfred Gwynne Vander-bilts great campaigner Discovery makes his return to the racing wars.
