CHANCEVIEW RATED AT TOP Flanigan Horse Assigned 120 Pounds for ,000 Sprint Handicap at Hawthorne Saturday. Weights for the ,000 added Hawthorne Sprint Handicap to be run Saturday, June 13, were announced today by racing secretary Julius Reeder and, according to the judgment, of the board of handicappers, Chanceview is their choice in the post of honor in the weight allotments. The W. F. Flanigan performer drew an assignment of 120 pounds, one more than Brownell Combs Myrtlewood, while Mrs. Ethel V. Mars Whiskolo will race under an impost of 116 pounds. The Bomar Stables Billy Bee and Calumet Farm Stables Nellie Flag are getting a one-pound concession from Whiskolo, and will be spotting T. C. Wordens Billy Jones one pound. The Northway Stables Toro Nancy is another among the high weights of the race, and to reveal the high regard in which the handicapper holds her, she is slated to tote 113 pounds. The Tranquillity Farm Stables Rock X. and C. A. Pecks West Main are others that will carry a steadying poundage, each haying to carry 112 pounds. The , weights dip down to as low as ninety-eight pounds, which has been assigned the veteran Captain Joy and the three-year-olds Trans- fun and HoldUm Brown, which will perform under the colors of the Blue Ridge Farm Stable and J.
