Start good and slow. Won easily; second and third driving. PORTDEN stumbled at the break and was taken under restraint when outrun, moved into command when sraightened out for the stretch run, shook off opposition and drew away. WATERSET improved her position eadily, saved ground entering the stretch and finished well. POMPEIUS, crowded back at the break, worked . s way np on the outside, lost ground at tha stretch turn and finished with good courage. BLACK MISCHIEF crossed over at the start, raced forwardly all the way and had no mishaps. MOUNT ECHO was outrun early, then finished well. ALANAD showed an even effort all the way. IMPROMPTU showed a flash cf ear! speed and then quit. BEAVER LAKE finished well. FLOPSIE had a flash of early speed then quit. Overweight Alanad, 3 pounds; Flopsie, 4j; Fortis, 1. LOUD JOHNSON showed speed on the flat and jumped well, drew away and had speed in reserve LITTLE WOMAN, outrun the first turn of the field, made tip ground slowly, but bumped FLYING FEATHERS taking the last fence, WIDE RIVER was placed under restraint when outrun the first turn of the field, but made up ground over tired horses, FLYING FEATHERS was placed under pressure in the final quarter mila and was knocked out of contention when bothered at the final fence. OLD BACHELOR showed speet In tho. first part, although dwelling at his fences, then tired badly at the end, CAPSTAN was racing strongly when, he bolted at the final fence, hut was brought back and finished the course. PASS EM BY showed early speed while saving ground, but faltered badly in the final sixteenth. YF.T1VE responded to pressure in the stretch run and finished with good courage. PAPEN1E made up ground steadily after being bumped rounding the turn. CHANTING broke fast, but was taken up when she appeared to be in close quarters after going a sixteenth mile. PATSEY BEGONE was rushed into command after the break, was allowed to open up a safe lead, saved ground thereafter and was under pressure in the final quarter mile. MAG MELL, bumped after the break, worked her way up on the inside, was again blocked and bumped ncaring the eighth post and then finished gamely. DEFLATE was rushed into contention in the first sixteenth, followed the pace closely, but bore over sharply when she tired nearing the eighth post and blocked MAG MELL. BONNIE LOIS made up ground steadily from a slow beginning and finished well. REMINDING, outrun to the stretch turn, finished steadily under urging. UGANDA had no mishaps in the running. UNDER THE GUNS, on the outside all the way, faltered at the end. MIL1C had speed for three-eighths, then quit. Scratched 25963 Lake Placid, 112. Won driving; second and third the same. PLAY CHANCE, outrun to the stretch, responded to urging in the stretch and wore down INVERMARK in the final strides. The latter was rushed into command after the break, was rated along steadily, saved ground at the far turn and stretch turn, but faltered suddenly in the final seventy yards and was bearing out. TIME CLOCK broke well, but dropped back, was steered to the outside in the stretch and finished with a rush. STAR SHADOW, a forward factor from the start, was placed under pressure in the stretch run, but faltered at the end. BOOTMAKER made a. determined bid when called upon and then faltered. The latter followed the pace under restraint, disposed of HARVESTING after going three eighths and then held under pressure. HARVESTING showed good speed but raced greenly. GAY JACK was raced in close pursuit of the early pace, but hung. GOLDEN COIN was carried wide at the turn. WANDEROBO was not persevered with when eliminated at the turn. BAGDEMAGUS raced greenly.
