JOCKEYS AND TRAINERS PRIZE Suffolk Downs Offers Watch to Riders and Cash Award to Leading Trainers. BOSTON, Mass., June 25 Perhaps not for an incentive only, but to demonstrate the good will and appreciation of the Suffolk Downs management, the officials of the Eastern Racing Association have come forward with the offering of a 00 gold watch for the leading jockey in the initial twenty-six days of the present race meeting. Not to leave the trainers on the sideline, they, too, have been remembered with a prize of 00 in cash to be given to the one leading the most winners into the judges circle in the first half of the Downs summer season. In the initial six days of the meeting, closed last Saturday, Tommy Luther had the lead over his rivals with five winning mounts to his credit, a single point over L Anderson and K. McCombs, each of whom has led fields home in four events.
