DETROirS FALL STAKE LIST Nine Fixtures Scheduled, All to Close During Meeting. Charles Kenny to Succeed Webb Everett as Racing Secretary Minimum Purses to Be 00. DETROIT, Mich., June 25. After going over the details for the fall meeting of the Detroit Racing Association, which will open August 22 for twenty-five days of racing, -president Clarence E. Lehr and director of racing Joseph A. Murphy today announced the stakes for the meeting. Nine fixtures, all to close while the meeting is in progress, will be offered to the horsemen, starting with the Motor City Handicap, ,000 added, to be run the first day of the meeting. As has been the custom in the past, the minimum purse at the meeting will be 00. There will be several changes in the official family. Webb Everett, whose exclusive contract with Santa Anita becomes effective at the close of this meeting, will be succeeded by Charles Kenny, who is moving up for the first time after his years of experience as an assistant in the secretarys office. Charles F. Henry will succeed Sidney Brown as placing judge and entry clerk. Eddie Thomas will be engaged in Seattle at the time, and a starter has yet to be selected. The Fort Wayne Handicap, ,000 added, August 29, two-year-olds, five and one-half furlongs. Entries close August 22.
