SIRE AND DAUGHTER WIN Tommy Boy and His Offspring, Dan-joan, Earn Purses at Northampton Park Mayer Stars. AKRON, Ohio, June 25. After following in closest pursuit of the pacemaker, Bonnie Cain, to the stretch, J. Flinchums Nancy Khan drew clear nearing the end of the fifth and best offering at Northampton Park this afternoon. Bonnie Cain held Golden Throne safe for second. With three winners to his credit, the riding of jockey J. Mayer was an outstanding feature of the afternoons entertainment. The trio included Nancy Khan. Favorable conditions once more prevailed and a good crowd attended. Favorites accounted for a fair share of the various events. Tommy Boy came from behind in the last quarter of the second to eventually win handily, but Danjoan, an offspring of Tommy Boy, made a runaway affair of the third race. Thistle Dust and Gan Lee led practically throughout in their respective races. 1
