! AQUEDUCT TURF NOTES $ $ Jockeys I. Hanford, J. Gilbert and E. Lit-zenberger returned from out of town engagements and resumed riding Thursday afternoon. Apprentice H. Keppler, under contract to Fred Hopkins, accepted his first mount during the afternoon. Many horsemen plan to desert local racing to attend the Nassau County Milk Fund, which is sponsored each year by Mrs. Payne Whitney for the benefit of the poor children of that county. Bright Plumage, a member of the C. V. Whitney stable, was unsexed Thursday. J. W. Healy returned from Suffolk Downs, where he went to saddle John Hay Whit-ncye Gleeman in a stake engagement at that point. The colt will be returned to Belmont Park. Bill Rickard, docker, who was injured in an automobile accident at Baltimore last month, passed through here Wednesday for Suffolk Downs. He was discharged from the hospital several days ago.
