McILVAIN BUYS FARM LEXINGTON, Ky., June 25. R. W. Mc-Ilvain of Chicago, vice-president of the Pure 9 Oil Company, has purchased Montclare Farm from Charles F. Speed and will secure possession August 1. The farm contains 206 acres and is located on the Paris Pike, oppo site the C. V. Whitney farm. Mr. Speed has used it for saddle horses and intends to remove his stock to another place nearby. Mr. Mcllvain will in the future devote the. farm to the production of thoroughbreds. He has a number of mares and foals which are now at Henry Knights Almahurst Farm, near Nicholasville.
