I DUFFERIN PARK NOTES t William Forsythe, auditor in the mutuel department at Dufferin Park, is bereaved in the loss of his wife. Mrs. Forsythe succumbed last night after a lengthy illness. The latest stables to signify their intention of racing at Devonshire Park are J. R. La Breche with Stand Out, Tout Feu and Oiseau Noire; G. K. Allen with Vee Eight and Super Power and J. A. Smith with Dark Mission, Crimson Rock and Silk Express. A. J. Halliwell shipped eight horses to Hamilton on Thursday. Included in the lot were Lugano, Contribute, Modern Ace, Le Bruyere, Black Flash, Oderic, Come Seven, and Polyp. C. S. Mitchell shipped M. Reelings Sock Dologer in the same consignment. J. Mann has taken over the position of trainer for the Riverdale Stable, which was left vacant by the recent death of L. Feeney. R. Bruce s Noble Gift and P. Mecklenburgs Listaro both raced with blinker equip- ment added in the second race. The stables of W. G. Campbell, Dave Gar-rity, Alountain Rose Stable. C. M. Henderson and C. N. Mooney were transferred to Hamilton on Thursday afternoon. F. R. Porter and Frank Dowd were each fined 0 by the stewards of Dufferin Park for misuse of their badges. J. J. Fenney will ship Nourrice and Stratagem to Fort Erie on Monday to await the opening, of the fourteen-day meeting at that point.
