STALLION ROCK MAN DEAD LAUREL, Md., Oct 8. Word was received here of the death of Rock Man, thirteen-year-old bay stallion by Trap Rock and Lydia A. at the Sagamore Farm of Alfred G. Vanderbilt Rock Man raced in the Sagamore silks of Vanderbilts mother and won several stakes. One of his best performances was in the 1926 Kentucky Derby, in which he was third to Bubbling Over and Bagenbaggage. He met with only moderate success in the stud.
