The latter lost ground while working his way up on the iiutside, closed with a rush and was getting to the winner rapidly near the end. MISS WEBB was never far out of it and showed a good effort. ODDESA BEAU, going in his best form and strongly handled, took the lead after going three-eighths, shook off a challenge from BROWN WITCH and drew away to win with something in reserve. BROWN WITCH was well up all the way, but was no match for the winner and tired in the closing stages. JEU DE BAR finished fast and gamely. LARO KEYS displayed good early speed, tried to bear out while racing in the back stretch, but was best of the others. FLAT ROCK was flatfooted when the break came, then made up some cround.
