TURFMEN ASSOCIATION DIRECTORS HOLD MEETING CRETE, 111., Oct 8. Directors of the Thoroughbred Horse. Owners and Trainers Association met at Lincoln Fields here late yesterday afternoon and outlined a program to curtail the expenses of the organization, according to aa announcement by A. B. Le-tellier, president:. The money the association is able to save under the new policy, Letel- -lier said, will :go into the fund usett for. the relief of indigent horsemen. Letellier said "that in the future the only paid employes of the association will be J. Harry Patterson, its field representative, and James Collins, in charge of the organizations bulletin. Those directors who attended yesterdays meeting along with Letellier were Jake Lowenstein, Moso Goldblatt, A. R. Born, Cliff Porter, Harry Herendeen and A. J. Plack.
