i ! DETROIT TURF NOTES t $ - Fi H. Carpenter, who has several horses here in charge of William Stock, motored from his home at Lancaster Ohio, and plans on remaining for several days. In addition to Cardarrone, an eligible for the Wolverine and Frontier Handicaps, and Lillian Roth, which was named for the Moslem Temple Stakes, Mr. James, Red Flyer, Galico and Witan made the journey from Chicago to carry the Blue Ridge Stable colors. Jockey T. P. Martin also checked in from the Windy City and trainer Otto Bag-ley will be here Friday morning. Trainer Leo ODonnell stated Kermay came out of his Wednesday race with several cuts and bruises and will be on the shelf for some time.
