ROYAL ASCOTS 226TH MEETING ENDS TODAY iiil Special Cablegram. NEW MARKET, England, June 17. Royal Ascots 226th meeting ends tomorrow when King George, Queen Elizabeth, other members of the royal family and their guests will again be present. Another scintillating program of seven stake races that gross about 7,050 will be offered, and again some of the best horses in training, including the Derby winner, Mid-day Sun, will be seen under silks. Mrs. G. B. Millers Derby champion will start in the one mile and a half Hardwicke Stakes, and his presence in the field is sure to drive out most of. the opposition. Mid-day Sun had to be. a good horse to win the Epsom classic, and there was nothing flukey about his victory. Tomorrow he is called upon to meet horses of all ages, but that should not prove a barrier to his further success, provided he exhibits the same form that enabled him to score such a clean-cut victory in the Derby. Other features tomorrow are the six furlongs Workingham Stakes, one of the most popular sprint handicaps of the season, and Englands longest distance race, the Queen Alexandra Stakes, run over the two miles, six furlongs and eighty-five yards course. In the last named event the American sportsman, Marshall Field, holds a strong hand with a trio to select from in Enfield, Santorin and Theddingworth. "
