I DETROIT TURF NOTES S 4 Bomar Stables Benjam, an eligible for the Moslem Temple Stakes, arrived from Chicago to join the division of the stable Eddie Barnes has here. Shortly before noontime Thursday "Lex" Wilson brought Gyral, T. D. Buhls Wolverine Handicap eligible, to the track with Couleedam and the pair went a handy three-quarters in 1:19. Frank Ray took over Tempestuous, Ros-selli and Fez to train for Mrs. Tom Stevenson. The horses were formerly trained by Frank Gilpin. Condition books for the Fort Erie meeting were received here. Connie Smythes Shoeless Joe and Acula will arrive here Friday, according to word received by trainer W. E. Coburn. Greenski and Early Times accompanied the Millsdale Stables Infantry here from Washington Park. They came in charge of P. G. Dwyer. As Earl Drivers contract was not on file with the state racing commission, the apprentice allowance on Old Fondo was waived Thursday morning. It was the lads first mount on a recognized track.
