ALARMING moved into command after the start, showed eariy speed and had no mishaps. KELT responded to urging and swerved toward the inside, then finished well. ACE OF TRUMPS ran in spots. MASKED KNIGHT showed speed from the start and was taken under restraint when outrun, moved into Command in the final half mile and held his opposition safe thereafter; PRATTLER overcame repeated interference, was guided to the outside in the final turn and finished welL SALUDA had a rough trip, overcame repeated interference, then finished m his own courage. RIDEAWAY was annoyed several times during the running, moved up fast when clear but. was blocked nearing the final fence. BACHELOR PHILIP showed a good effort all the way, although bumped in the running. JUNGLE KING made a bad landing at the thirteenth fence and faltered thereafter. REDSHANK raced prominently in the first turn of the field. BIG MARCH had early speed, then quit. BLACKCOCK could not improve his position after hobbling at the fourth fence. RIPARIAN slipped through on the inside entering the stretch, came between the leaders, at the .eighth post and drew away under urging but won with sometliing in reserve. SUN LAMP bgan slowly but raced well and came to the outside of the leaders in the stretch run to close with a rush. STALAGMITE; away well and showing speed throughout, was placed under "severe pressure in the final eighth but hung in the final strides. GOLD QUEST, from a slow beginning, worked her way up on the- outside and dosed, stoutly. ALLOWANCE closed with determination on the inside but was blocked in the final sixteenth. IDLE MISS showed a good effort all the way. KNIGHTS HAVEN was in close quarters in the, early running. SUN CHAUCER faltered under urging in the final eighth. LOST BATTALION began slowly.. GREY FLUFF bore out sharply at the stretch turn and carried BAREBACK with her to the extreme outside. FLYING ORPHAN quit in the stretch run. BAREBACK was going strong when carried wide. DUTCHY dropped out of it early and did not seem to like the track. WAR DIMES was taken up sharply when in close quarters on the faf tura. BAY MEMOR was done after going three-quarters.
