S. D. RIDDLE TO BE GUEST OF THOROUGHBRED CLUB LEXINGTON, Ky., June 21. Samuel D. Riddle, according to announcement made today by president Dan B. Midkiff, is to be honored guest at the annual dinner of the Thoroughbred Club of America this year. The date for the dinner will be during the autumn race meeting at Keeneland. Mr. Riddle, master of. Faraway Farms, owner of Man o War, numerous of the progeny of "The Horse of the Century," including War Admiral, the star three-year-old of 1937, winner of the Kentucky Derby, the Preakness and the Belmont Stakes, needs no introduction to the turf world. He is known in all countries as one of the outstanding American breeders and sportsmen. His selection for this signal honor by the Thoroughbred Club was unanimous.
