BUNGLER set the early pace under pressure, drew clear entering the stretch, then failed to last.. OAKWOODS JUDGE, a forward factor from the start, held on gamely in the drive and outfinished WOODSWIFT. The latter. made up ground in the last quarter mile. GALIENTE went evenly. SYNTOMY showed speed and, racing greenly, dropped back entering the stretch, then came again in the stretch and faltered in the closing drive. RIVER CREST quit badly in the last eighth. BUNETTA worked her way forwardly on the outside and outfinished SLEAFORD. The latter went evenly throughout. BATON DAMOUR and JEAN PITTSTON could never threaten. PADDY BURNS dwelt when the start came and was practically left.
