LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS Two aspirants for 1937 riding honors moved toward the top of the ladder with a rush last week, K. I. Vedder going into a tie for second place by piloting eleven winners, while J. Adams also neared the 100 mark in number of winners ridden when he scored with thirteen of his mounts, better than ah average of two winners per day. Billy Neals total remained stationary at 104 for the year. Vedder is tied for second place with Allan Gray with ninety-six winners. Carl Bierman tops Adams by one winner, having ninety-five, while the latter has ninety-four. Adams total was high for the six-day period.
