The latter took command soon after the start, established a clear advantage rapidly, swerved when tiring . in the. stretch and failed to last. ROYAL IMAGE, away fastest of all but unable to keep up, was outrun for a half mile but came fast through the stretch. IMPERIAL LU had no mishaps. B EIGHTY was unable to keep up. COME HOME was outrun. HOUSE BABY showed early speed. CHANCE QUEEN, away slowly, improved his position rapidly, during the opening quarter, drew clear rapidly after reaching the lead, responded to strong urging when challenged in the drive and outfinished HIP BOOTS. The latter,well up from the start but in close quarters early, came fast when clear but .tired after offering a bold bid nearing the final eighth. FOREWARNED had no mishaps. M6LLY GREENOCK took command on the inside nearing the final half mile, was unable to hold the lead, but held on well. MARY SEIBERT was badly handled. MISS MASCARA showed speed. BLUE CHATTER, hustled along from the start, took command on the inside nearing the half mile, estabished a big advantage soon afterwards, hut tired rapidly near the finish, GEORGIA MEADEN tired after offering a mild bid approaching the final quarter. ELI W. raced greenly, bore out badly at the turn and tired after being driven to the front nearing the final three-quarters. REGALITY gave way after reaching -contention on the inside.
