1 KEENELAND TURF NOTES Shipping here without mishap, the horses of Mrs. Ed Haughton and trained by her husband, arrived Sunday. In the shipment were Rough Diamond, Sadie F., Bustle, Butter Beans, Holton, Barbara A., Prince Fellow, Ramrod, Par-Queen, Glasby, Barbara S., and Fay D. Jake Angner unloaded Royal Link and Busby, the property of L. M. Biggs and the Marathon runner Double R., which sports the silks of Mrs. J. G. Angner. The horses of J. F. Rector trained for J. M. Rector, were turned over to the latter to train. Rector decided to act as agent for jockey Arthur Craig and will handle that riders engagements during the local meeting. T. H. Heard, Refugio, Texas, owner, unloaded eight head, the horses coming from Rockingham Park. Before leaving New England, Heard had the firing irons applied to Bright Sox, Four Spot, Don Lopez and To the Rescue. The quartette will be shipped to the Heard Farm in a few days to be turned out until next spring. Jadva, Juraboy, Greenup Time, Oblivious and two others made up the shipment sent here by Keene Daingerfield, Jr. Five others will be here Monday from Latonla. The well-balanced stable of C. W. Pershall in charge of trainer Tommy Root arrived from Fairmount Park. Root is conditioning thirteen stars, Dorothy Agnes, Brown Ben, Burr Hickman, Winged Victory, Hose and Sink or Swim for the Granite City Illinois sportsman. Tunica, Sam Alexander, Gem City Girl and Lookaway are the horses C. C. Norman brought here Saturday from Latonia. Another Latonia shipment to check in at Keeneland Saturday was the four-horse stable of H. H. Temple, Jr., headed by the distance runner Escomur. S. S. Gano, checked in with Prenny and Wise Joyce which races for Gano and Glass and Winforme that sports his own colors. The Millsdale-Pelleteri Stable reported on its way here from New York, came from Chicago, and was in charge of trainer Burley Parke. In the shipment were Old Forester, Roman Gold, Molly Fly, Dolly E., Alpenglow, Bold Fay, Kissem and an unnamed two-year-old filly by Jean Valjean. In the same consignment were Fair Mole and Petty Taw which race for trainer Parke. Six which race for Baylor O. Hickman checked in Saturday morning, Hickman is expecting, two others to reach here Monday from Latonia.
