WOMAN WINS 100-MILE RACE Sixty-two of the sixty-eight horses in Chicagos first 100-mile marathon finished the r test yesterday, with a. woman owner, Emily Kuehn, riding the winner. After weighing in the contestants, the judges awarded first prize, the Clayton F. Smith trophy, a bronze equestrian statuette, to Jelly Bean, seven-year-old thoroughbred. Owned and ridden by Emily Kuehn of 4651 N. Leamington Ave. Second place was given to Kern, Arabian, owned and ridden by Norman W. Harris, banker. He received the Brig. Gen. Thomas S. Hammond award. Albert W. Harris, 70, chairman of the Harris Trust and Savings Bank, won the prize offered by Col. Charles C. Haf f ner, Jr., for the best horsemanship. He was the oldest to take part in the contest.
