ANOTHER OFFER TO BENES Eduard Benes, until recently president of Czechoslovakia, has been invited by the University of Chicago to become a member of its faculty. Earlier in the week Brown University offered the diplomat a post as professor of international relations. President Robert Hutchins, of the Midway school, stated that in the event Benes accepted he would be asked to lecture oh democratic institutions with special reference to European developments as affecting the American institutions.
