GRIMES RELEASED AS MANAGER BROOKLYN, N. Y., Oct. 10. Burleigh Grimes was released as manager of the Brooklyn Dodgers, and it was reported Leo Durocher, shortstop secured from the St. Louis Cardinals last winter, would be his successor.
