NAVY DAY OCTOBER 27 Schools throughout the city will stage assemblies and special programs for the observance of Navy Day, October 27. A bulletin was sent to principals by the superintendents office Saturday. It has been customary since the inauguration of the day seventeen years ago to hold the observance on October 27, Theodore Roosevelts birthday.
