PURDUE STAR WINS METER RUN Arthur Bodeau, representing Purdue University, captured the annual CYO open and Central A. A. U. championship 5,000-meter run Thursday at Jackson Park. He completed the distance in 15:53. Bruno Bassini of Lake Shore Park was second and J. P. Smith, the Kappa Alpha Psi representative, was third.
