PEAR ANTI-NAZIS PICKET LINES NEW YORK, N. Y., Nov. 25. Fearing that "any well known Nazis" will be embarrassed by picket lines if their visits to New York are announced in advance, the Hamburg-American line has ordered suppression of all news concerning the arrival and departure of its trans-atlantic liners. Louis Wieckum, public relations consul for the line explained: "Picket lines, formed whenever a ship docked, has caused line officials much embarrassment and vexation. By stopping the issuance of press releases, the general public will have less knowledge of the arrival and departure of well known Nazis who might be singled out for jeers and catcalls of an anti-Nazi picket line."
