t TANFORAN TURF NOTES ? -4 Bon Ivy was withdrawn from the second race Thursday because of an attack of colic. Bon Ivy also will be placed on the stewards sick list. Jockey S. Coucci, who was thrown when Orthodox fell Wednesday, canceled his mounts for Thursday. Coucci, although not seriously injured, was very sore and shaken up and will be rested up for one day. The board of stewards at Tanforan placed the following notice on the board: "Owners and trainers of imported horses are responsible for the weights of their horses in a race. All races won in foreign countries count against the horse and he is penalized for such winnings."
