BUILDING BOOM IN SUBUKBS t Sections of Chicago suburbs are enjoying a building boom of fair-sized proportions. Over a period of two years 2,500 new homes and twenty-five business buildings have been erected in the outlying sections of the Windy City. The increase in construction is attributed to the public works program by the federal government, for which ,854,000 has been allocated to provide the undeveloped sections of the suburbs with sanitary systems, water mains, paved streets and sidewalks.
