PRESIDENT WELL PLEASED WARM SPRINGS, Ga., Nov. 25 President Roosevelt today expressed satisfaction over the definite business uptrend, but warned that re-employment, as usual, would lag behind. The chief executive pointed out in a roadside press conference that production always increased faster than employment. President Roosevelt had no comment to make on Great Britains rejection of the proposal to admit 100,000 additional Jews to Palestine. Although the President declined to estimate next years relief budget in advance of his next years message to Congress, the trend of his discussion of the unemployment situation indicated that current expenditures would not be materially reduced. Further, he pointed out the constant population increases. If 30,000,000 were employed in the spring of 1937, he said, several hundred thousand additional would need jobs because of coming of age. The President was gratified by Secretary of Labor Perkins report that 900,000 had been reemployed in the last four months, 248,000 in October. :
