H. B. SCOn YEARLINGS TO SPA Manager of Faraway Farm, Home of Man o War, Consigning Youngsters to Saratoga Sales. LEXINGTON, Ky., April 5. Harrie B. Scott, who maintains his own farm here and also acts as manager of S. D. Riddles Faraway Farm, the home of Man o War, has six yearlings running out at his place, which will be shipped this summer to Saratoga for the annual sales. The group to be offered for sale by the local breeder includes a son and daughter of Blenheim II., a filly by Equipoise, a daughter of Blue Larkspur, a brown son of St. Germans, and a black colt by Cohort. The dams of the first five are by Man o War, while the Cohort colt is from a mare by Crusader, one of "Big I Reds" best sons. Roaming the pastures of the Riddle farm are fourteen yearlings by Man o War; eight are colts and six fillies. Among the yearlings is a half-sister to War Admiral, which will make her racing debut in 1940. According to Scott, Brushup, dam of the Kentucky Derby winner War Admiral, was due to foal last month. Brushups foal this year will also be by Man o War.
