MARION W., in close pursuit of the early pace, bore out slightly on the stretch turn and, responding to vigorous urging in the stretch, wore down DONNAGINA in the final strides.- The latter recovering from early interference, moved up quickly and, coming through between the leaders on the stretch turn, finished welL PREFERRED TIME showed a good performance and held on resolutely. POMPANITA closed a gap after starting slowly. SATIN ROLLS showed speed while saving ground, but faltered near the end. SNOBBISH LADY lost ground entering the stretch. DANS FOLLY went wide on the stretch turn. MISS MAKER raced green from the start. HAPPY LARK broke greenly. BRAVE ON dropped back after the start. HENORA raced greenly. PASS THE BUCK was outrun. . PHILLIPS PETE improved his position from a slow start and, moving up with a rush in the stretch, wore down the leaders and drew away at the end. JOLLY FLAG, a factor from the start, came again in the stretch to outlast BIG BUDDY. The latter broke fast and, opening up a safe lead while saving ground, tired steadily in the final eighth. WINDSOR BOY had no mishaps and outlasted FERNBRAKE. The latter moved up stoutly on the outside on the far turn, but tired in the stretch. SAGACIOUS began slowly and was outrun. SLEEPY HOWARD showed good form. VOTE BOY raced well from the start. GOLDEN SILENCE was on the outside rounding the far turn. PANDONNA showed earlv speed. GOOD OMEN had no mishaps. CAIDON was outrun. LAST SCAMP began in a tangle and bothered ITALIAN HARRY, worked her way up on the inside, only to tire thereafter. FLYING FEET raced well after recovering from slight bumping at the start. VEDALIA had no mishaps. ITALIAN HARRY was knocked out of it at the start. WALMISS had no mishaps. SPRINGS HERE showed early speed, then quit. Overweight Squabble, 34 pounds.
