SANFORD TO ASSIST SHELLEY LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 5 Cliff Sanford passed through Louisville en route from Hot Springs to his home in Cincinnati. He will return to Churchill Downs later to serve on the staff of racing secretary W. H. Shelley.
