SET JUNE 1 AS TAX DEADLINE County Treasurer Toman has announced that June 1 will be the deadline for payment of the first installment of the 1938 real estate taxes. The first bills "were put in the mail Wednesday. As the bills are now two months late those who fail to pay the first installment by June 1 will be charged penalties accruing from April 1. The second installment falls due on September 1.
