SILKS OF WSS H. BINGHAM , Daughter of Robert W. Bingham to Race Horses at Kentucky Tracks. Newcomer to Racing Has Thoroughbred Nursery In Kentucky Warren G. Douglas Directs Training of Juveniles. LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 11. Miss Henrietta Bingham, of Louisville, who has established a thoroughbred nursery on her 450-acre Harmony Landing Farm in Oldham County, near here, will enter the turf sport with running horses in Kentucky this spring. Miss Bingham intends to increase her racing and breeding holdings through the acquisition of additional brood mares and, perhaps, a stallion. She has three two-year-olds being prepared at Churchill Downs under the direction of Warren G. Douglas. Miss Bingham raised two of the youngsters, Blue Harmony and Deception, and pur- chased the other, Crumpet, at the Saratoga saes. Blue Harmony is a chestnut daughter of Mate and La Contessa; Deception is a brown filly by Jacopo and Bobbles, and Crumpet is a chestnut daughter of Hard Tack and Stretch Call. WELL-BRED JUVENILES. Her juveniles are all well-bred and have been nominated for a number of stakes, including the Debutante Stakes to be run at Churchill Downs during the coming meeting. The horses are to be transferred to Lexington shortly and, after the Keeneland meeting, will be returned to the Downs. At the close of the spring season in Kentucky the Bingham juveniles are to be shipped to Saratoga. Miss Bingham, who has nine brood mares forming the nucleus of hernursery, plans to ship five yearlings to the Saratoga sales next summer. Those intended for the sales are a colt and a filly by Blue Larkspur; a colt, each, by Ariel and Questionnaire, and a filly by Jamestown. Miss Bingham, who also has a lively interest in show horses and hunters, is the daughter of the late Robert W. Bingham, until his death United States Ambassador to England, and publisher of the Louisville Courier-Journal and Times. .
