1 LOUISVILLE TURF NOTES o $ In charge of trainer Leonard Wilson, -the Lexbrook Stable, owned hy the Chicagoans, M. A. and L. D. Kern, arrived here from Oak-lawn Park two days ago. It embraces nine horses, namely, High Renown, Mars Man, Merry Saxon, Suburb, Sir Passes, Bargain Hunter, Imperial Scout, Caddiecay and Lex-brook. The latter, a brown son of Higher and Transformation, is the only two-year-old in the establishment. Arriving from Miami were the horses trained by George Gould, Milton Rieser and Dave Shaw. Of the three, Goulds string of eleven was the largest. Divisions of the stables trained by Keene Daingerfield and J. P. Sallee came from Lexington and were unloaded at Churchill Downs. The Daingerfield unit numbered ten head, while five of the horses Sallee is training for Thomas Piatt, T. C. Piatt and other persons, made up the advance shipment of that establishment. I The Kentucky Derby eligible Timeful, accompanied by Grass Cutter, Espania and several others, have been transferred to Lexington, where they will race under the Shady Brook Farm colors. Theodore E. Mueller, owner of the stable, inspected all of his horses Sunday. Additions to the Woolford Farm stable, received from the farm in Kansas, are San Tan, and the two-year-olds Prompt Pay and Indisputable. Trainer B. A. Jones has four nthprs comincr from Oaklawn Park. The lat ter quartet is headed by the useful three-year-old Sabariel, the others being Edgeco, Buddie Treacy and Veiled Prophet. Tom Jolley is at Douglas Park with two horses, the three-year-old Ellen Baker and the juvenile Miss B. B. The latter is a black daughter of Pilate and Grape Sugar. Jolleys brother, Moody Jolley, is due here in a few days with three horses he is to race at the Downs for C. Leroy King, of Memphis. Moody Jolley has twelve horses at Memphis, but could only get stall accommodations for three.
