0. 0. VAN METERS JUVENILES LEXINGTON, Ky., April 11. Having weeded out his older horses, C. C. Van Meter, local breeder, owner and trainer, has eleven two-year-olds in training at the local track. Van Meter, one of the oldest active trainers hereabouts, usually develops a high class horse each year and he hopes to have several useful horses in the lot he has quartered here. Six geldings, a colt and four fillies are in the group. Their names and breeding are: Balover, chestnut gelding, by Balko Pushover; Hadith, bay gelding, by Hadagal Princess Edith; Copin, bay gelding, by Mate Miss Dora; Sundoary, bay gelding, by Sun-patic Herodot Friary; Vindicare, bay gelding, by St. James The Vengeance; Vinum, bay gelding, by St. James Bright Wine; Votum, bay colt by Gallant Sir or Hi-Jack Never Again, while the fillies are Hasagne, a chestnut by Haste La Montagne; Baleo, bay, by Pompey Fair Stella; Vivat, bay, by Pairbypair Firade, and Swift Singer, brown, by Haste Song Bird.
