EXPECT BIG HANDICAP COLONY Beulah Park Attracting Plenty of Better Grade Performers. Darby Dan Farm Shipping to Columbus and May Bring Francesco Zevson Already on Grounds. COLUMBUS, Ohio, April 11. There will be no scarcity of handicap horses at Beulah Parks spring meeting April 22 to May 20. No less than thirty-five handicap performers speed during the session. W. R. Sallee has three in the handicap group. They are Pin Money, Real Play and Rosselli. Joseph Baumbach brought Zevson from Oaklawn Park and plans to race him in several Beulah handicaps. John Galbreaths Darby Dan Farm, which will ship to Beulah from Tropical Park early this week, may include Francesco. John Winans Noahs Pride also is a member of the Beulah handicap brigade. A. M. Wheelers Queen Clarice, which won four races at the Grove City course last fall, will return. Among Queen Clarices victories of the 1938 autumn season was the Au Revoir Handicap. Other handicap performers that will race at Beulah include: Bob Mozers Saunders-town and Actdine, Mrs. Doris Hendersons Doris B., Ivan Parkes One Night, Jack Hayes C-Note, O. B. Johrs Wise Duke, V. H. McMullens The Thrush, R. E. Spicers Persuader, Frank Speelmans Achieve and James Chesneys Professor Paul and Cristate.
