No Competition and On Lo-j cation are the principal Derby reliances" in the Milky Way establishment and their per- J formances at Keeneland will be watched . with keen interest. Two other Derby nominees to be sent to the Lexington track were J Sports Writer and Rule All, the latter a filly and likely to pass up the Derby in favor of: the Kentucky Oaks. Accompanying the Derby horses were Tiger, the Milky Way Farms candidate for the Phoenix Handicap at Lexington Thursday, and High Pressure. Another Kentucky Derby hopeful sent from here to Lexington was Viscounty, which is owned by E. F. Woodwards Val-dina Farm. This son of The Porter is eligible for the Blue Grass Stakes at Lexington, and it was expressly for this engagement that Viscounty was shipped to Keeneland. Besides Viscounty, trainer J. J. Flanigan sent eleven other members of the powerful Valdina establishment to Keeneland. George Gould arrived from Florida and took over the training of the horses which preceded him from the Everglades state. Fred Weller is at Douglas Park with a modest but useful string of horses. The string is made up of Enfin, Swap, High Polish, Social Error and Marbite. Because of the crowded condition in the barns at Keeneland, J. Price Sallee sent three of his horses to Churchill Downs, the remainder to follow after the close of the Lexington session. Those now at the Downs are Essex and the two-year-olds Red Sash and Red Witch. James Graham Brown, owner of the Brown Hotel Stable, left here for New York on a business trip, but is expected to return to Kentucky in time for the opening of the racing season at Keeneland. Several of his horses will be under colors at the .Lexington track.
