Pete McLean, apprentice rider under contract to William Causey, may resume riding before the close of the Lincoln Fields meeting. McLean suffered a fractured collar bone at Oaklawn Park, and the break was reset by Dr. E. F. Bennett in Chicago ten days ago. Jockey Jack Bryson packed nis tack and left for Detroit, where he will report to C. H. Ferguson, who shipped his stable of eleven horses to the Motor City track Tuesday. A portion of the pretentious stable that A. G. Tarn will have available for the Lincoln Fields meeting was vanned to t.ie Crete track Wednesday morning, while the remainder of the horses will be sent Sunday. Jockey Charlie Rollins, who has been riding for F. P. Letellier, has received several offers from horsemen who cuntemplate racing at Omaha and will leave here Saturday for the Nebraska city. J. P. Ebelhardt has made arrangements to transfer the five horses that he has for W. J. Lynch to Lincoln Fields Friday. After supervising the shipment of the twenty-two horses that he will campaign at Detroit, Ross O. Higdon departed Wednesday for the Motor City.
