PARKING TICKET, racing abreast of the pacemaker in the early running, moved into a short lead entering the stretch, was kept under severe pressure and came out gradually nearing the finish. MISS TRYCOM had good speed from the start and held on willingly after being overhauled. SUN BELLE, securing racing room on the inside, came gamely in the closing drive. FLAGABOUT was forced to lose ground all the -way and could not engage the leaders. MISS WING was caught in tight quarters soon after the start and was unable to stride freely. BALKANESE weayed between horses in the early stages to reach a contending position, moved up gamely at the stretch turn, came to the outside of the leader in the last eighth and finished resolutely to get up in the last strides. FERNBRAKE assumed command when I DO ran out leaving the back stretch, saved ground and continued with excellent courage. TAVERN, shuffled back early, obtained racing room on the outside and finished willingly. SCHLEY BUCK, away well, lacked early speed. KILLY saved ground, but could not entec contention. MELVIN could not keep up after the first half mile. CHAMPFLEURY could not menace. CHANNING lost ground and was outrun. FAMOUS CLAYTON had no mishaps. HELEN V. D. trailed all the way. REIGH TETRARCH lost the lead early and failed to rally. SEA BOY could not enter contention. LOCOMOTIVE raced poorly and can do better, JANSTAR was outrun. HELEN BAB showed nothing.
