t BELMONT PARK TURF NOTES | ® _4 The steeplechase stakes for the Aqueduct meeting will close on different days during the meeting according to Fred Parks, of the N. S. and .H. A. A division of the Greentree Stable will be shipped to Hollywood, California, for that meeting. W. E. Boeing applied for stable room at Saratoga Springs. This will mark the first venture of the Seattle-owned establishment at the up-state course. Mrs. Edward S. Moore, of Sheridan, Wyo., was granted stable accommodations at Saratoga Springs. The horses are in charge of W. Barnnegan. John Kermath today applied for stalls at Saratoga Springs for the W. L. Ranch owned by Los Angeles movie magnates. A division of the Tall Trees Stable owned by Mrs. F. J. Navin, of Detroit, may be raced here the latter part of the meeting. Trainer George Odom said that Marshall Fields Sir Damion, winner of the Dixie at Pimlico, would not start in the Metropolitan. Track superintendent C. V. Boyle, said that all the flowers on display at Belmont Park were grown in the track nursery during the winter. The outstanding exhibit is a line of giant geraniums which are planted along the paddock fence. As a; supplementary feature for next Saturday, an event for Ohio-owned two-year-olds is being planned.
