TELEVISION BALL GAME NEW YORK, N. Y., May 17.— The first baseball game through the medium of television will be brought to a select audience this afternoon when teams representing Columbia and Princeton Universities meet on Baker Field. The position of the pick-up will be behind first base and from that point will be relayed to a transmitter atop the Empire State Building from whence it will be broadcast over a fifty-mile area. ,
