Fit Walker for Braces BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L. I., N. Y., May 21. George Walker, veteran steeplechase rider, who has been hospitalized for the past three years, was fitted for braces which the doctors hope will assist him in learning to walk. .He was a recent visitor at the Richmond, Va., Hunt, witnessing the running of the events from a wheelchair. Walker was injured in a spill at Laurel and doctors gave him no hope that he would ever be able to walk due to his spinal injuries.
