Taj Akbar Remount Sire FORT WORTH, Texas, May 21. Taj Akbar, the imported stallion now standing at stud at Reynolds Brothers Farm, is the property of the United States Government, according to the owners of the farm. The horse, who was second to Mahmoud in the Epsom Derby of 1936 is at the Texas ranch near here, through arrangement with the Remount division of the government and under the same conditions as any other Remount stallion. Although recently credited with having purchased the English-bred sire, Reynolds Brothers emphatically stated that the stallion is not the property of the ranch, but is standing in Texas through the cooperation of the Remount.
