South American Declared BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L. I., N. Y., May 21. Trainer J. W. Smith declared Punjab from the Suburban Handicap to be run on Memorial Day. The South American-bred son of Rushton Pasha and Pim-pinela, owned by Santos T. Reinos is, according to trainer Smith, not up to such a gruelling test and is still showing some effects of the hard and long ocean trip from his South American birthplace.
