Kulihas Effort Pleasing HAVRE DE GRACE, Md., May 21. Most owners and trainers get as real thrill only when one of their horses manage to win a race, but yesterday Joseph Kulina of Som-erville, N. J., couldnt have been any happier even though Kulina, carrying his colors, was beaten a nose in the second race by Gold Braid. Kulina was proud because up to date the horse Kulina is his only performer in action. The New Jersey patron bred the three-year-old colt, who is by Court Scandal out of Miss Hopeful, she by Zacaw.eista. Since the colt bears his family name, it was only natural that Kulina was tickled to see him set all the pace in the second start of his career.
