Won easily; second and third driving ARMED, away alertly, was forced wide entering the stretch, responded readily when shaken up and, after disposing of BEST PROSPECT, won going away, then worked out seven furlongs in 1:254/s. BEST PROSPECT went to the front early, saved ground while making the pace until inside the stretch and held on willingly, but was not good enough for the winner. POMPS GAL raced evenly and had no mishap. CHALLORETTE could not keep up. DEBABY raced prominently to the stretch, then weakened. KNIGHTS HILL was outrun. BOBS PICK was never danaerous. QUINTER0 tired. GOBLIN, within striking distance of the early leaders while saving ground, was taken out for the drive and, after assuming command, won in hand despite the fact he pulled up lame. W0NDERWH0 disposed of FAIR ARAB after a half mile, made the pace until inside the stretch under steady rating, but could not hold the winner when called upon for her best effort. WISE SUN moved up gamely on the upper turn, then flattened out under pressure. PEGASUS was always outrun. MISS G0LIGHTLY was done early. BUTTONS was through early. ELCAN, unhurried when outrun to the stretch, came out for the drive and drew clear under a steady hand ride. LEAPOLINO raced in closest attendance to the early pace, but lacked a closing rally. GOOD LOOK outsprinted the field into the first turn, then gave way to LEAPOLINO entering the stretch and had little left at the finish. MARTHARINE lacked speed and never seriously menaced. SISTER CARMEL had no mishap. DARK HEATHER tired under punishment after showing early speed. EGOS BOW came back lame. ROMANCE HILL was never formidable. Scratched— 710484 Robin Hill, 107.
