SELECTOR, suited in the going and under steady restraint, saved ground and, in the late stages, held his position safe without undue effort. NICK BLOOM, on the inside and close up from the start, finished well, but could not menace the winner. BRIGHT COMET, on the inside for the stretch run, hung in the late stages. ABOVE NORMAL unseated rider on way to the post and ran away a quarter, then raced well and had no mishap. GREELAC showed an even effort. BLAZING and CHIGWELL raced wide at the far and stretch turns. MAFIA, on the outside from the start, disposed of LUCILLE F. rounding the stretch turn and drew away to finish with speed in reserve. OREMURF was sluggish in the early part, improved his position on the outside and closed fast. VAMAN0S was outrun in the early stages and closed fast through the stretch run. LUCILLE F. had early speed while saving ground, but tired badly nearing the finish. TOREADOR was gaining fast in the final furlong. ALWHIRL floundered in the stretch run. PROPHETS THUMB, on the inside, could not menace the leaders. UNABRIDGED was never formidable and appeared to climb in the running. EAGLE BIRD had some early speed. VALS KID improved her position steadily, came through on the inside for the stretch run and, under urging, outfinished TINK. The latter was taken under restraint when outrun, responded when roused for the stretch run, but hung nearing the finish RAUCOUS closed ground fast on the outside. JUST LOVELY finished with a rush. DEEP FEN tired from early efforts. MISS BARON had no mishap. FLAG CAPTAIN saved ground at the turns. MISS HASTE improved her position rounding to the stretch turn and, under pressure, finished fast to draw away. WARMOUD was hustled along from the start and, under pressure in the stretch run, swerved, then hung. BURLEY BID, on the inside from the start, was under pressure in the stretch run when blocked slightly when WARMOUD swerved. BELLWETHER was close up from the start and had no mishap. SILVER PUTTER was blocked at the far turn when trying to get through. BRONZE MEDAL raced evenly. WAR GLANCE had early speed. ACE was taken in hand when outrun, began to improve his position when roused, assumed command on the outside of the leaders inside the stretch turn, but could not stave off the winner. PENNON was kept forwardly from the start, but under urging could not stave off the winner. GASPARILLA moved up fast rounding the far turn, hung slightly, but, under pressure, came again.
