Mikell Appears to Have Made Fine Claim in Going Airy HAVRE DE GRACE, Md., May 3.— S. C. Mikell appears to have made a fine claim on April 26 when he took Going Airy from E. K. Bryson for ,500. He ran the five-year -old mare back Monday for 0,000 and she triumphed in good style under Steve Brooks, indicating that shell prove well worth her purchase price. She is by Amphitheatre out of Airy Going and was bred by the Greentree Stable. Going Airy whipped Superb Donna in the race and the latter was claimed out of that event by the North Cool Stable of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Sagner of Baltimore for 2,000. This was the highest claim of the meeting, topping by ,000 the previous records. W. Hinphy previously had taken Snow Whirl from Bernadotte Stable for 0,000, and Mrs. E. H. Augustus had claimed Arnie from Mrs. J. H. Miles lor the same amount.
